Happy Birthday to Bill Self, current coach of the University of Kansas (KU) Jayhawks Men’s Basketball team!
Now, it is true that your humble Header Writer does not really follow sports, but she is a Kansan. And it has not escaped her notice that KU is good at basketball. And Bill Self has helped them be that good for 15 seasons, to quote Wikipedia: “He’s led the Jayhawks to at least a share of an NCAA record 14 straight Big 12 regular season championships (2005–2018) which is an active streak,[5] three NCAA Final Four appearances (2008, 2012, 2018), and the 2008 NCAA championship.”
So, even though yrs truly attended That College That Beat KU In The First Round Of The NCAA Tournament Back When (Bucknell), she takes today to celebrate the birthday of Bill Self.
