This is the round of 32 for the 8-bit generation of video games, covering games roughly between 1985-89 including the NES and Sega Master System.

  • The most voted game was Tetris. This was also the biggest blowout, against RC Pro-Am.
  • The least voted game was Arkanoid, which was no match for The Legend of Zelda.
  • The game with the least votes moving on to the round of 32 is Battletoads, which will be facing a special runoff with accidentally forgotten nominee Bubble Bobble. This was also the closest match, against Kid Icarus.
  • The game with the most votes that was eliminated was Maniac Mansion, which faced a close match against Double Dragon.
