It’s been a few days and I’m still pissed over the James Gunn situation. Fuck Alan Horn and fuck Mike Cernovich. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!

Now, to be fair, those jokes from Gunn were edgy try hard bullshit. But A.) they were from a decade ago, B.) Gunn has, by all accounts, shown regret for his edgy try hard bullshit period, C.) and Disney almost certainly knew about them. And Cernovich is a fucking Nazi (and has almost certainly assaulted women in the past), he doesn’t give a shit about assault survivors. And this is coming from the company that wants to do another Pirates of the Caribbean, starring a fucking abuser who this week is trying to smear his ex-wife/victim’s good name.

And you just know that the only reason they didn’t rehire Gunn this week is because they didn’t want to own up to making a mistake. They’d rather let fucking Nazis win than admit to a mistake. Fucking cowards. Just cancel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, there’s no point to it now.
