Coming in late last night on The Rachel Maddow Show, it was revealed that they had obtained secret tapes of Devin Nunes speaking at a fundraiser for Rep. Cathy McMorris-Rodgers, essentially admitting that the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court is part of a larger plan of ending the Mueller Probe. And, in classic Nunes fashion, the error was unforced. All he had to do was speak about how good of a politician Rep. McMorris-Rodgers for these donors. Yet he decided to talk about the investigation.

See, when Mark Meadows and his merry band of Freedom-likers put together those articles of impeachment, it was almost immediately rejected by House leadership. No comments were made at the time. We were meant to believe that there just wasn’t any support. But then, here comes that scandal-ridden bag of human flop-sweat, Devin Nunes to spell it all out.

 

It’s all an issue of timing! They don’t want the Senate bogged down in whether to impeach Rosenstein, when they have a perfectly good corrupt stooge to elevate to the Supreme Court. First, get Kavanaugh on the Court, then impeach Rosenstein after the Mid-Terms and then end the Probe.

I’ll be curious to see how this plays out. Devin Nunes has been acting in bad faith ever since he stumbled into our lives with his ‘midnight ride’ a couple eons ago. I mean, he even says in the tape that he’s aware that using stolen e-mails given by a foreign country in an election bid would be illegal. Everything here pretty clearly establishes conspiracy against the United States and an intent to obstruct justice, right? Even if nothing happens here, I can’t think of one good reason why any right-minded Senator should even be considering to vote on Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
