We started with nominations in 8 groups of 8: Pro Hockey, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Football; Minor Leagues; College Sports; and bits and pieces that didn’t fit anywhere else.

The choice were surprising, but without further ado, here they are. As usual downvotes are meaningless.  Please refrain from commenting the voting threads, but gripe all you like once you’ve gone through the list in the designated.
