Solo opened at #1, but has vastly underperformed expectations, falling $15M short of the estimated $101M target. It now seems possible that there is a saturation point for Star Wars, and we’re at or near it. Deadpool 2 dropped a steep 65% in its second weekend, although Infinity War is fading slower, with a 40% decline in week five.

And that’s… kind of it for this weekend. Nothing else new opened on more than 25 screens.
