You may decide to discuss this as specifically or as broadly as possible, but as the title suggests, what would you identify as a favourite, infamous, or most interesting pop culture tie-in item that you have ever owned?

The exclusion of Star Wars is deliberate, because its omnipresence in the field of merchandising is a bit…insane, so the challenge here is to think of OTHER examples.

It can be an action figure, a happy meal toy, a cup or glass, a candy dispenser, or whatever else you feel can apply here.  But it must be associated with a pop culture media push for a new movie, cartoon, TV series, etc.

Or, you could just sound off about toy collecting in general.
